"I recently remarried. My wife and I were in the process of consolidating our personal effects. She swore her insurance was less expensive than mine. I checked into it, and she was correct. Please note, I was completely upfront with State Farm regarding my driving record. I did this because I didn’t want to switch insurance companies just to be dropped and have no insurance. I was completely honest with the State Farm agent about this idea as well. In fact, I brought up this idea a second time. I was assured we were good to go! So I made the jump. Well guess what? Today we were told that State Farm has changed their mind! Not only did they announce they are dropping me from coverage, they are dropping my wife and her daughter because we live in under the same roof. I called the office and reminded them of our conversation but all they could say was they had no control over corporate offices decision. Essentially, we are nothing but a pawn. HOW CAN ANYONE DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY THAT WILL TELL YOU ONE THING AND THEN 6 MONTHS LATER, FOR NO APPARENT REASON, CHANGE THEIR MIND!!! How can anyone trust or do business with a company whose word means so little? Now here I am in exactly the situation I was trying to avoid. THANKS STATE FARM, you have been a huge help!!"

"We were having a hard time finding an insurance company willing to insure our house that is under construction. We tried different agencies, but all with the same answer, "our underwriters don't want to insure a home that is not complete... ". It just seemed crazy...it's still a structure that needs to be insured. We came across Derek Poppell's agency in Boise after a general online search for homeowner friendly insurance companies willing to insure an "under construction" house. State Farm popped up. After explaining to Seth our problem, he immediately felt he could help us. We signed up after the quote & are now going with this agency for all our homeowner, auto & any other insurance needs as we are saving money going with State Farm. "The best State Farm agents... ever! We have been with State Farm for decades and have always had good service from many different agents, but Susan, Vickie, and Derek have gone above and beyond what we could have expected. Purchasing a new home (and closing in <3 weeks) was difficult as it is, but they submitted paperwork almost overnight, provided rates that were better than any competitors, and, they were even happy to go through old files (on their hunch!) and get us Flood insurance at an extremely low rate. They basically just took over all of that stuff for us and we were able to move on to other things. It was amazing! But then a year later, our mortgage was sold. The new mortgage company was terrible, threatening us with fines and fees with only one or two days' warning, simply because the Mortgage Company personnel were so inept and couldn't properly read the paperwork or simply because their company's name wasn't on the insurance documents. Derek and Co again to the rescue! They updated the paperwork, sent it in ASAP, and worked with them directly to get all 5 issues resolved expediently. Wow. We could not be more pleased with ANY company or service provider. Everyone in this office is absolutely top notch, and they are the friendliest people you'll ever meet."
